An AR Book and a thumb

Spencer is reading now and has started reading AR {Accelerated Reader} books. He earns points for each book he reads, don't know what he will do with the points, all I know is that he has started reading and we are SOO EXCITED!!

"Big boy" here has found his thumb. I am crazy to be so excited, but I think it is so cute...I couldn't wait to tell Pam that we have a thumb-sucker!! Jessie is so precious sucking her thumb, and now Sawyer is sucking his too. I just had to document with pictures and video, who knows how long this will last. He is growing TOO fast. I can hardly believe that he will be 3 months old. Time is really flying by.

Happy Belated St Patrick's Day

As you can see Sawyer is really growing. We reached several milestones this week. He is now 2 months old, weighs 12.25 lbs and is 23 1/2" long. He had his first bottle of cereal, which assisted him in sleeping through the night (whoohoo!) and, had his first real bath. Spencer is growing so fast as well. His birthday is in 2 weeks, I can't believe that he will be 6yrs old. Time is really flying by. Today is 21 months since Sullivan's accident. Our lives will never be the same without him. And although Sawyer will never know him physically on this Earth, we know they already have a connection...if only he could talk and tell us what he knows! Our lives are blessed to know if we choose the right we will be together for time and all eternity! What a blessing!! ;)

A Photoshoot disaster!

Here is my very favorite picture from our photo shoot. After a FULL day of preparing to get pictures done, we finally get there....then the fun begins. We were actually early for our appointment, then had to wait. Then we are shifted from room to room so that the other group can finish their session. Then the girls laughs as she starts and said the baby is making funny eyebrows, what does she expect him to do when she is flashing the camera 10 times per minute??! So she rushed us to take the pictues in black, then the pictures in white. Then she leaves that room and didn't even tell us the session was over. So we are standing there waiting on her and she's downloading the pictures for our review. VERY disappointed in the outcome. Tim could tell I didn't like the pictues, so when I tell him I don't like them, he suggests I shouldn't get them. Then Spencer goes to crying because he wanted the picture of him & Sawyer. Tim takes him for ice cream and sends Jenny down to help me make up my mind. So we end up getting a $100 package {that I STILL didn't like}. So I pay and leave the place to return less than 10 minutes later to tell them I changed my mind and I don't want the pictures. They want to know why? I mean what don't you like? the girl asked me. You will have to come back tomorrow and talk to the manager. So the saga will continue tomorrow as I go face off with the "manager." Stay tuned...these are the days of our lives!!

Here are some random pictures of last week. Boy our life is in the FAST LANE lately. I told my mom that it takes me all day to do nothing...and that is the honest to goodness truth!
