Happy Birthday to Me!

Who would've ever guessed I would be pregnant on my birthday this year?!? I guess you can tell by the above picture that I am definately "showing". I will be 16 wks this week. My next appointment is tomorrow...so far...all is well. As for my birthday, we had dinner at my parents Saturday night with all my family, since they were all going to to the beach on Sunday and would miss my actual birthday.
I woke up to roses and breakfast Sunday morning. How sweet?!
After church, Tim treated me to lunch at Smokehouse Grill..YUM! Sunday evening, Kristi, Logan, Leslie, Geoff, Emma, Trent, Brandon and Jenny came over for dinner. Anthony & Trxie stopped in for a few minutes. The kids played in the pool and had a blast. Thanks to Leslie and Jenny for my cakes, they were delicious! Also, thanks for my gifts too!

Overall, my birthday was pretty nice. I guess there will always be a void, but I do have the promise of eternal life to help me keep going! I just wish for another year of good health and happiness.

Someone just COULDN'T "HOLD IT"!!

We are home and covered in laundry. Finally today I got caught up. We really had fun last week on vacation. Most days we spent on the beach, as Tim says, We're at the beach, so let's go to the beach...so that's what we did, EVERYDAY. It was fun though. Of course, everywhere you look are memories of Sullivan, and where there wasn't a memory, was a question of how would he like it if he were here. One night at the pool, while talking to Leslie, my emotions got the best of me, then a few days later on the beach, my emotions got the best of me...this time, I had to excuse myself from everyone and go back to the house so that no one would know. Sometimes it's just better to cry alone. Poor Ashley on our trip to our cousin's house got to hear a see a lot of my emotions. Sorry Ash!! But overall we had a good time. Spencer had a blast, and he has the tan to prove he was at the beach. Hope everyone had a great 4th. Have a great week!
