First Pic of Baby

Here is the first picture of our new addition. I went to the doctor today, and thank goodness they done an ultrasound. They thought that I was 12 weeks and I thought I was 8 weeks...I was right. The ultrasound confirmed that I am only 8 wks and my due date is January 10, 2007. We got to see the heart beating, how wonderful. I am still amazed at how something so miraculous can take place inside my body. Inside the black circle is another small circle, that's the baby. If you look closely, you can see 2 white lines, one on top and one on bottom, that's the arms. Funny how everything is already formed and the baby is only about 1/4 of an inch long {crown to rump}. We will have another ultrasound when I am 20 weeks, and then the anatomy will be revealed.....to the doctor's....we don't want to know what we are having, so all of you will find out what we are having the same time we do, AT DELIVERY!

Happy Memorial Day

Happy Memorial Day Everyone! Thanks to our servicemen & women....including Tim! Yes, it's been 16 years since he served, but he's still a veteran. Just thought everyone would like to see this picture of Tim.

We spent our Memorial Day around the house. Tim spent most of the day doing much needed yard work. Later in the evening, Pam, Ryan, Grayson, Macy & Jessie all came over to visit and cookout. The kids enjoyed hanging out and playing in the yard. As you can see, they all had a great time.

Check our Macy's headband. Tim kept singing the song from Flashdance, She's a maniac.

Jessie was more interested in the stairs than anything else. Anytime she went "missing" we knew exactly where to look.

Weekend @ The Beach

As you can see we were very busy over the weekend. We left out Thursday evening and returned Sunday evening. Elizabeth spent the weekend with us so Spencer would have someone to play with.

We spent most of the day Friday on the beach. Thank goodness it wasn't very crowded. Saturday we spent the first half of the day at the pool and the afternoon at the beach.

We also spent some time at the arcade, both Friday and Saturday night.

If you are in need of a GOOD sunscreen, I can tell you what works...Avon Sport SPF 15. Tim is a walking example of just how well the sunscreen works. How funny is this picture?? We were outside when I sprayed everyone down, so what landed on him worked. The wind was blowing, so the sunscreen didn't get very evenly coated....who would've thought we should rub it in...HAHA! He took us to the pool Saturday morning and he went walking on the beach. He came back to the pool and was telling me about all the looks he was getting....I think it's kinda funny. But now we know what works. So contact your friendly avon representative for your bottle today!! HAHA!!

Our Future Gymnast

Today was Spencer's end of the year performance at his Gymnastics school. He participated really well and was very proud of his trophy...although when he got it he said he wanted a bigger one. Below are some of the things he showed us that he has learned over the past 9 months. Whether or not we will continue next year...WHO KNOWS?

Sorry for the blurry pics. Thanks Tim!

The guy in the red is Mr. Ken, Spencer's instructor.
We want to send a "SHOUT OUT" of thanks to Mom, Day, Leslie, Emma & Trent for coming to see Spencer today. {We will excuse Elizabeth and the Post Clan because she had practice for her dance recital}.

We woke up this morning to a little thunder storm and some rain. I guess it woke this little fellow up and got him on the move. He was in the driveway when I went to Mom's this morning. Elizabeth and Mom were shaking sticks at him and he was snapping at them...watch out little finger and toes.

Mother's Day

How adorable is Spencer? He decided to use a different approach at delivering my flower.

Today was bitter sweet for me. I wanted to be happy, but it's hard to celebrate when our life is incomplete without Sullivan. I started out my day, quiet in his room letting my emotions flow.

After we went to our church, we went to Trent's dedication with Geoff, Leslie and the family. We made a trip by the cemetery and then headed home to get ready for lunch with all of my family. We spent the rest of the afternoon doing nothing, just hanging around the house. Geoff, Leslie and the kids came over for homemade ice cream {strawberry} YUMMY!!

We are happy to be expecting another baby, but our nerves are still a little frazzled!! We had no idea we would be blessed with another baby quite so soon, but we are, so we will make the best of the next 8 months getting ready....watch out junk food! LOL

HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY TO ALL YOU MOM'S & MOM'S TO BE!!!

Spencer's Last Day of School

Spencer's last day of school was today. All parents were invited for circle time, this is where they sing there songs and show us what they have learned this year. We also got to see a video, slideshow that was made from pictures this throughout this school year. He was awarded a certificate and got to bring all of his stuff home that he had made. We sure will miss his teachers next year, we have been spoiled by them for the past 2 years. It's hard to believe that Spencer will be in Kindergarten next year, and even harder to believe that Sullivan was not here to finish Kindergarten this year. We miss him SOOO MUCH!! Just when we think we are doing better, something makes us stop and think what we are really missing. But we know, WE KNOW that we will be with him again one day.

Not sure waht happened to the pictures, they turned out blurry...forgive me!?!

Zoo Trip

Spencer's class at the beginning of our outing. Check out MR CHEESE on the front row. How cute is he?

As you can tell, we had a blast at the zoo today. Spencer's 4-K class took their end of the year field trip to Riverbanks Zoo. We met at school, and Sarah & I followed the bus to the zoo. Tim took a few hours off from work and came over to spend some "quality" time with us.

We started with a tram ride, then looked at some animals on our way over to the sea lion morning feeding...stopping along the way for a few pictures.
As you can see, Mr Photogenic didn't mind posing for the camera.

We feel so blessed to be the parents to 2 wonderful boys. Even though our life on Earth is incomplete right now, we are so thankful for everything that we have. We will forever treasure our lives together and the memories we share.

Spencer says Korryn is his new girlfriend, so I thought it only fitting that they got a picture together.

Life is Good

How good is Diego's life? Not a care in the world. His nightly routine is to get in the recliner and go to sleep. The picture doesn't begin to show how comfortable he really is...and the snoring was getting cranked up too. What a life!?!
