PCR Update
The PCR hearing for Monday has been postponed. The defense attorney filed for a continuance (is that spelled right?) Anyway, this means we WILL NOT go to court on Monday, it will be September 22 or after. The attorney had requested copies of the transcript from Kershaw County Courthouse and had not received all they needed....SO, no hearing on Monday. I tell you this with mixed emotions. PLEASE, ALLOW ME... Since when can you drink until you are 3x the legal limit, drive around like you own the roads (speeding), take the life of and innocent child, plead guilty and get sentenced to 13 years in prison and STILL have more rights than a regular citizen? Well, you can ! Criminals and prisioners have more rights than you & I. We live with a horrible loss everyday of our lives, we face challenges EVERYDAY that none of you reading these words will ever know. But let's not forget that the person responsible for taking Sullivan so senselessly from us has the right to appeal his sentence. Can you say "PISSED!" Well that doesn't begin to describe the anger we feel, but we manage to get up each and everyday and face each day without Sullivan, only to find out 3YEARS LATER that the individual who took his from us feels that he has been "WRONGED". Oh boo hoo! So sorry for him!
One Tooth; Two Teeth
Yesterday while I was changing Saxon, Spencer comes running into the living room and said, "Mom look." I could tell something was wrong from the look on his face. Then he explained that while he was playing he hit himself in the mouth and knocked his tooth out. As you can see in the first photo, the two top teeth were holding each other in. After a little convincing, I talked him into pulling the other one with a piece of tissue. Tim tried saturday to get him to tie it to the door. Spencer actually stood there while he tied the string to the door and hooked it on his tooth, then he backed out. And Sarah also tried to talk him into letting her pull it, but NO WAY! So finally, they are out!
I don't know where he gets it from! :)

PCR
What is a PCR you ask? PCR stands for Post Conviction Relief. Mr. Brown (convicted of Felony DUI with death for killing Sullivan) has filed a PCR application with the Attorney General's office. Essentially it means he does not feel he had adequate representation from his attorney. From what I understand, this is normal for inmates who plead guilty, so at this point we are not overly concerned. However, we will be attending a hearing on Aug 4 in Richland County. If the judge feels Mr Brown did not receive proper representation, he will have a trial. Help us as we fast and pray this Sunday, August 3, for justice to be served and we will not have to face a trail. Haven't we suffered enough? Is it not enough that we face each day without our precious Sullivan and the one responsible is living and breathing? Where is the conscience? Is there one? Apparently not! Please join us in prayer and fasting. I will not be able to contact everyone individually, so continue to check here for updates! I feel pretty confident that all is well, but prayer never hurt anyone, right!
Thanking you in advance for your faith and prayers!

What a birthday!
Last Wednesday was my 35th birthday...shew, I'm getting old! :) lol Seriously, I'm not getting old... I don't feel like it, nor do I look it! heehee!!! Anywho, I celebrated in an odd way this year. I had my 6 week checkup at 9am, at 11am Tim & I attended a DUI Enforcement Recognition Luncheon which recognized agencies and officers for DUI enforcement. Then off to an appointment in Lugoff and finally home. My parents had dinner for us! yum-o!
I (along with Cheryl Jones) received a plaque for being the MADD Community Action Site leaders for Kershaw County. Also recognized was Kershaw County Troop for exceptional DUI enforcement! What an honor. Just when you least expect it, you see the changes going on around you! Thanks to all of the law enforcement individuals who risk their lives everyday to make the highways safe for us! THANK YOU! THANK YOU!

This picture was taken after a LONG day! notice the ponytail "do"! The morning after this picture, I had ALL of my hair cut off! Thanks Stacey, I love my new look! (Sorry no picture yet) Now I'm working on my baby weight! I actually managed to squeeze in a workout video yesterday. It was a 20 minute DVD that took 40 minutes to complete thanks to a few interruptions. But atleast I completed it! Not sure where the kids shirts are in the picture! Boys will be boys! And if they live here, they are always taking their clothes off :) LOL!!

Potty Time
I know, I know... 18 months is early to be potty training, but Sawyer is very interested. Last week we started introducing him to the potty, and then last Sunday after church, he had a dry diaper for several hours and my mom put him on the potty and he used it. Of course I wasn't there for the first time, so for my first experience I had to pull out the camera. He used the potty twice yesterday and once today. Who knows if this will last or what is to come...I guess we will wait and see.
Sawyer also went for his 18 month check up today. He has gained 1 pound in 3 months and has grown 3 inches. I know you are thinking... WHAT? But the nurse measured him twice and that's what she come up with. I have noticed that he seemed longer whenever he's sleeping in his crib, so now I know why.
On a humorous note: when Dr Finch was checking him over, he was checking his eyes with the light, and Sawyer says, "cheese". Is he familiar with a camera or what?
We are also headed back to the Dr this afternoon for Saxon. He has a rash on his face and various body parts, so of course, they want to check him out. So stay tuned!

Busy Days
I decided to post one picture from each kid...gotta keep it fair right?!! Well, here is Sawyer on the slide at Scott Park. The kids and I surprised Tim with a picnic for dinner one evening after he got off work. He has been working so much that we have to squeeze in these things when we can. We had a really fun time. It was so nice to be out of the house. I feel like these walls are closing in on me. lol!
Check out Saxon talking to Tim. He is such a sweet baby, but he is too young to be talking like he does.

Ashley inspired me...
You Are Snow White!
Pure and trusting. You are a gentle soul who can get along with just about anyone. Everyone you meet instantly falls in love with you. How can they resist? You have a pure, lovable nature that's irresistable. Just don't trust everyone who comes across your path.

Updates
Saxon went for his 2 week check up today ( a week late). He weighs 9 lbs and 12.5 ozs., he is in the 90th percentile for weight and near the 90th percentile for height. Needless to say, he is doing great. I keep telling everyone that he is the best one yet! I think the more you have the more laid back they get ;) Maybe not, but so far that seems to be our opinion. He is as sweet as he can be and at 3 weeks old is trying to coo. He just lights up whenever I talk to him. He definately brightens up my lonely days!
Here are a couple of pictures of Sawyer and Spencer! ENJOY!
